COMMERCIAL VOICE OVER

When most people think of voiceover, they think of commercials, where the opportunity for creativity is endless. There are as many styles for commercial narration as there are products to create! When looking for a voice over artist to represent your product or service, it helps to think about the tone or mood you wish to convey. Is it luxury or down-home comfort? High energy or laid back? Do you want your audience to be inspired or relaxed? Do you want them to feel like they’re listening to a friend, or a cranky neighbor, or a wise leader or an overprotective sibling? You get the picture. Knowing the “feeling” you want your audience to get from your commercial helps when casting for it. A good voice over talent should be able to deliver your script whether you’re wanting a disgusted parent, a finicky patron, or a bride to be.
